I would like to thank everybody for the responses I received to my previous
postings. I am making some progress in getting SCO UNIX 3.2 up on my
computer.
I bought a IDE (MAXSTOR) 200Mb drive for my system. (Nice little drive!)
I would still like to have my MFM disks available.
The consenses(sp?) is that 2 controllers are okay if ..
You set the second controller to the secondary address,
and you change interrupt 14 to interrupt 15.
My MFM controller is a WD1003-WA2. It has several jumpers on it that look
like this:
Jumpers between E2 & E3, E5 & E6, and E7 & E8
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
E E E
1 2 3
*[* *]
*[* *] * E7
| E E E | |
4 5 6 * E8

* E9

-----------------------------------------|||||||||||||-----|||||||||||||||||-
I have lost or never had the documentation for the board, is there anybody
out there with the docs who can fax me a copy or suggest the proper jumper
settings if what I want to do is even possible.
Also I will go as far as to use a soldering iron if need be. I think I
could figure out how to change the interrupt pretty easily, it's the
addressing I'm not sure of.
Thanks
Chuck Luciano
