This is probably a problem with the configuration for the floating
point processor. Check your cmos setup (to verify that you do not have
it configured to say you have a 387).

This is probably due to the fact that you are running it on a tty port
without modem control. Check the FAQ posting for info on how to set this
up. (If you don't have one lying around, email to me & I will forward it
to you)
