No, I didn't post either message. I didn't even know about the first
one until someone asked me about it and kindly explained how to decode
it. As many people here know, I am a law librarian/paralegal, whoever
did post the two forgeries made the fatal mistake of assuming that I
know enough about the mechanisms by which the messages were created
when in fact, I do not. Besides, Richard Sexton is my best friend on
the net, why would I do such a thing to him? And why would I deliber-
ately point the message back to myself?
Richard and I have discussed this via phone and email and we have nar-
rowed it down to two people. We are working on the assumption that it
was written by someone who has been on the net long enough to remember
seismo and jj at portal, who knows a fair amount about Richard and who
has a motive. It's pretty obvious to me who did it but I won't say
anything until we know for sure.

On the contrary, nearly all eminent forgeries are created by alt.
flame regulars.
