Adding Diskless Ultrix clients

I'm having some trouble adding diskless cleints.  After creating the
filesystem and the kernal I am not able to add the client.  dms.new tells
me it  cannot find /dlenv0/root0.mips/usr/diskless/dms.a not found.  I'm
assuming this is because I've screwed up something a little earlier in the
setup.  And idea's what I may have done wrong?  BTW mop_mon tells me that
it cannot open any DLI sockets.  Is this a related problem?  As you might
have guessed I'm new at this and any help would be apprecated.
