I faced with a mail problem.
We are using smail for uucp connection to other sites beyond our local network.
We expect that the Return-Path of the mail is 'xxx at aladdin.solvit.co.kr'.
But we got 'xxx at aladdin.UUCP' as the <Return-Path> in the mail.
For your infomation, the other partner of our uucp connection is also using smail.
I found that the sendmail is configured into '<$g>' as the Return-Path.
I found that our rmail(== smail) does translate a domain style
address to uucp style address, for example, xxx at domain to domain!xxx.
Is it right that I think that the other parner of our uucp connection
is using the same version as ours ?
For your more infomation, I include some part of a mail with the unexpected
return path.
