V/386 and Elm

      Yes, yet another edition to the continuing saga. Although this
may very well be the last chapter. :-)  

      I finally got Elm working with Smail and V/386.  Someone had 
suggested that I specify SVR2 instead of SVR3 in the Configuration routine.
I had initially tried this with no luck. Tonight, however, I removed everything
and re-unshared the source and started out fresh specifying SVR2. ANd
it works!!  I don't quite recall who suggested doing that but I thank
you. Apparently something wasn't getting changed properly by re-running
Configure. So now I'm back to my good 'ol Elm just like before. I appreciate
all the help and suggestions, Including offers of assistance from
Microport despite the fact this is no problem on thier part.

      There is definately a learning-curve in going from Sys V/AT to V/386
and little by little things will begin falling into place.
