386 w/ locus-merge

Does anyone know how to get a dos task under uport merge to use the parallel
port _directly_ instead of using the unix lp for prn output?  Supposedly
it is described in the Advanced User's Manual, which is part of the
"complete set of Merge 386 manuals", but is not included.
