A good word for uPort

I'd like to put in a word of appreciation for Microport tech/sales support.
I've dealt with Microport since version 1.6 of System V/AT, and I'm well
aware of various problems we've gone through. However, I have to say that
I've always gotten courteous people on the phone, no long sessions on
"hold," and a sincere willingness to be helpful (albeit with occasionally
mixed results).
For example, on the recent upgrade of version 2.3 to 2.4, a mistake was
made in filling my order. The Microport sales rep returned my call, and
promptly sent a replacement for the disks I needed. No questions asked,
and I didn't even have to return the incorrect disks. The new set of
disks arrived this evening.
I've also recently had the opportunity to load a well known name brand
Un*x on an AT at work. Tech/sales support at that company has been well
intentioned, but the phone waits have been very long, and the tech and
sales people not too knowledgeable. The system, and the various support
and upgrade services, are higher priced than those of Microport. I
bought the cheap (uPort) system for my personal computer at home, and
my employer foots the bill for the name brand system at work.
I can't honestly say I'm completely satisfied with either company, but
I have to say that Microport is at least pleasant to deal with, and
overall not so bad as they are sometimes made out to be. I think that
there is sometimes a tendency for the customer who pays the least to
complain the most, and sometimes we on the net are guilty of this.
I don't want to set off any more gripe sessions (I *am* aware of some
of the negatives!). I just want to put in a good word where it's due.
