Yes, I know. I would like to say it was just a typo, but it was truly
a thinko--I had OSF on the mind for other reasons, and my mind was
wandering while I typed. I really DO know better, and I am very sorry to
have impugned the integrity of the FSF by mistakenly associating them with
the OSF. The two are entirely unrelated.
And while I don't intend to send a bunch of money to FSF right now, for
just the reason I mentioned (they're not interested in the machine I need
to keep running), I do see contributing to them (either money or software)
as a sensible thing to do.
On the other hand, I'm assuredly NOT going to send money to OSF. They have
too much already...I think they should send ME some money!
(Now, let's go back with /[FO]SF and see if I got it right this time.:-)
