A while back I had posted a somewhat-heated warning and note about the Anvil
Stallion I/O boards.

Well, to make a long story short, Anvil (in Australia) just called. We've
received a promise of work on the input problems until they are solved.
Michael Obrien spent the better part of an hour on the phone with me going
over the troubles we've experienced, as well as suggestions for improvements.
I've been told we can expect some form of results in a week or so. The
projection is for 60kbaud on input, or 6 ports @9600 without trouble. This
isn't ideal, but it's 300% better than I've got now (in other words, I'll
take it :-)

I'll keep the net posted. It appears that Anvil _IS_ listening; hopefully
they can solve the problems! (it would be nice to recommend and sell the
darn boards too; I was getting near the point of "rolling my own" out of
frustration!) :-)
