Archive tape driver

I have an Archive tape system.  It is the one with the long
controller card (I thing they call it the 499?) any way it is
the QIC36 controller card and drive.  Several months ago when I was
trying to make it work with my former system, Bell Tech 5.3.1
I called Archive to see if thay have a Unix driver...they sent me
what they had, a Xenix driver.  I never tried it, but ASSUMED it
wouldn't work.

Well now I'm on ENIX 5.3.2 ("The Merged Port?") and it does have some
stuff to help run Xenix applications, but I don't think device drivers.

Does any body know if there is a device driver for the Archive 
available from anywhere? (by the way I did check with ENIX - they said
"the standard driver might work but who knows?" It didn't).

I though with the merged port now out (comming out) perhaps a drive
from a third party or a pd Xenix driver (if one exists) might be
out there somewhere.
