Microport lives

I haven't seen anyone else post this, so it may be of some interest.

I recently received a press release stating that Microport has been
purchased by Abraxas Software International. New president of Microport
will be Sherman "Spike" Kasper.

The company, from the looks of the press release, intends to continue
supporting its 286 System V product, and intends to establish a
presence in the 386 and 486 Unix market.
