Fault tolerance servers

Does anybody know of a software product (commercial or PD) which
provides fault-tolerance for UNIX systems?  I'm looking for any type of
FT enhancement - replication, shadowing, journaling, etc., preferably
with minimal hardware support and kernel modifications.
