System Error Logging in SunOS4.?

Hi!

I would like to capture all error messages going to the console on a SunOS
4.X box.

Is there an easy way to do this?  I was hoping to somehow communicate with
the syslog daemon and tell him to send me a copy of everything he puts
to the console.  In V.4, you can open a streams error device and get a copy
of everything that is destined for the console (in terms of an error message).
Does anyone know the scoop?

Also, if there is a better way than dorking with syslogd, I would love to
know.
