Looking for Snobol under UNIX

This probably taking a shot in the dark, but...

When I was in school at the University of Texas, all of the 
UNIX machines (4.2 BSD systems) had ICON compilers.

Does this help you any?  I was once told by somebody that 
ICON was the successor language to SNOBOL.
