TU81 driver for 4.[23]

We got a TU81 tapedrive but no driver for it. I know that Ultrix has
one (of course) but there's a lot of money between Ultrix and us.

Has anybody got a driver for TU81? Is anybody trying do make one? If
one were to make one, which driver(s) should one try to imitate/copy?
