quotas

     We are running a 4.2 BSD on a VAX 11/780.  We use the quota
feature extensively.  There is only one problem.  We can change the
quotas but we can not remove a user from the quotas file.  When we
remove the passwd entry and directory entry  the uid number shows up
as the output from the repquota command.  Any ideas on how to remove
a uid from the quotas file.
