!!! WANTED ALIVE !!! source for simple editor

	I am looking for source for a few simple screen oriented editors in C
for Unix (BSD or SYSV) or MS-C. (c++ or objective-C is also ok) I am not 
looking for anything fancy here. (ie: I don't want emacs!) ideally something 
that can be used in a Data Base-like application, where fields can be 
overwriten, cleared etc.
