Hi networkers,

A question for those who have running a network of diskless workstations
over Ethernet.

In our applications of image processing we do quite intensive I/O
but also quite a big number of calculations. We were wondering if
diskless workstations (in a number of 10 or 15 or even 20) would the solution
for us, or if, on the contrary, the Ethernet would be collapsed.

I know that this is quite application-dependent, but have
any body over there got some experience
about when you start getting into troubles
with these diskless configurations?

Any suggestion would be most welcome. I will summarize the answers (I hope
to have answers!!!)

  Thank you,

P.S.: Is there anybody of the RPI listening?. I think you have some experience
with your VAX2000's that we would like to share.
