Hi everybody,
Sometime ago I posted a query about programs to convert Fortran code
to C code. I asked for public domain stuff, if possible, and for
contact address of software companies otherways.
What follows intend to be an abstract of what I got.
First, I have not found anything in the public domain. In fact, the
couple of products I found were really expansive and they are out
of my budget right now.
The program that seems to satisfy most of the people is C-77, by
Intrinsic (Intrinsic OY, Kauppakatu 3 A, 33200 Tampere, Finland,
[e-mail: c77 at intrin.fi, or pl at intrin.intrin.fi (Petri Launiainen]).
The description of their product
is very convincing, the price is in the rage $10000-$20000.
The other program people seems to use is Fortrix. I did not make
any further efforts to locate this company since the price was
already more than $5000.
I hope this will be of help to somebody. I also thank the people
that replied to my query.
