UUCP via Bridge CS/1 box

We currently have about a dozen sites contenting for a single directly
connected modem and would like to offload them to the Bridge box.  We
have a Bridge CS/1 box to which the rest of our modems are connected to.  The
problem we are having is when a uucp site calls us and tries to come
through the bridge.  The uucp system can log in fine, but when uucico starts
executing the process hangs.  We've tried changing different parameters
(i.e., ecmchar, flushvc, flow..., etc), but no luck.  Has anyone else had
this problem and found a solution or the proper parameter settings?
