Reading a Plexus/Interactive Systems (~1982) 1/4 Inch Tape

I have a 1/4 Inch DCA-300 cartridge tape which was written in about 1982
on a Plexus Computer (Z8000 processor).  The software used was the
Interactive Systems IS-1 version of Unix.  Is there anyone out there who
could tell me about the actual data format on the tape, what present day
cartridge drives might be able to read it, and where I might take the tape 
to have it read.
