Hello Netlanders:
We currently have a 3B2/400 and a 3B2/600 connected via Starlan and we are
running RFS on UNIX System V R3.1.1.
We also have six 6386's connected via Ethernet running TCP/IP on ISC
386/ix 1.0.6.
We would like to change to Ethernet on the 3B2's and run TCP/IP and RFS in
order to connect into the '386 network.
We have four 3B2 3BNET boards from before we went to Starlan.
My question is, are these boards really Ethernet Transcievers and if so
what are some sources for LOW cost TCP/IP and RFS?
I have heard that a 3B2/600 license for Wollongong TCP/IP is around $5000,
are there other alternatives?
Thanks in advance.
