getting a modem to call you

Because of security reasons, I cannot dial into the computer system
(BSD 4.3) I use at work. However, I am allowed to dial out. Does
anyone in this group know of a way to write a shell script or a
program that would allow me to set a specific time (say, 8PM, or
perhaps 1 hour from now) at which tip or some other program would wake
up after I've logged out, calling my modem at home and connecting me
to a login process?
I know about the ``at'' and ``sleep'' commands, but I don't know how
to make them execute an interactive command such as tip and get them
to connect standard input and output to a shell, login, or getty
program. If anybody has ideas or suggestions or needs more
information, please let me know.
Thanks a lot!
