I am assuming you mean year when stating a given date?

If so, try using 'cal'. It will give you a calendar for any
year 1-9999 not that the calendar is any good way back.

You can also specify a month using the number of the month.

So if I want to know about Dec 7, 1941, I type 'cal 12 1941'

Hope this helps.
