Does sunos copy executable to swap

We have a running disagreement at our office...
In SunOS, if an executable is running and a non-modified page is
paged out (or just discarded), does the system go back to the
original program for the core image, or does it always put the
image in swap?
If the program resides on another system, I suspect this could cause
some serious performance problems.
Thanks in advance.
