AT BUS Etherlink UNIX Drivers

A coleague of mine, without net access, has the following query: 

"Can any one help with finding ISO/IEEE MAC drivers for 386
 etherlink cards and hopefully a package for LLC datalink stations.
 Otherwise are there any good text books or papers with guidence for
 writing one.

It makes very little sense to me :-) so I'm sorry if this is posted to the
wrong newsgroup. Mail me if you can help and I will forward to him. Any
assistance
