Help Wanted: A good Database manager on UN*X

[Bing Bang]

I am working on a project that requires a fast, clean DBM that will work
with COBOL programs as well as C programs.  Reliability is foremost
concern, and a generous licensing policy is also desirable.

If any of you have a recommendation, please forward them by mail as we
are not yet set up for a news feed.
