Comm program..

is thare a good, (preferably PD) terminal program available for ISC 2.0.2?

I am using xcomm now and it is fine, but pretty crude... 

What I am REALLy looking for is something with ansi emulation on non-ansi
terminals. (I.E., using the terminfo database, translating ANSI code to the
correct similar effects on the local terminal)

Anything like this (or do I have a project here?)
