Networking Question...

I hope some of you UNIX types can help me out on a "dumb" networking question..
.I only learned a little bit of the operating system this last week so, I can
use A WHOLE LOT of help... :-)
We are currently trying to put our IBM PC RT 6150 to use (running IBM's AIX)...
what we are hoping to do is wire four PS/2 50z's as terminals from our PC lab
to the serial port card we installed and use an under-used 3812 laser as the
printer (using the Megapel adapter card's printer port). However, we also have
a token-ring adapter that we are hoping to use to expand the "terminal access"
to the rest of our machines (15 PS/2's plus a number of old AT&T 6300's all
running off of a Banyan CNS server).... The question: does anyone out there
know what is needed to have the Banyan and RT BOTH accessible on the Ring as
"hosts" for the PC's? We also hoped that the network printer resources would
be made accessible to user regardless of what they are attached to (RT or VINES
server). The other "problem" is we are soon to recieve a "backbone" from the
main campus of Penn State that will allow "hard-wire" access to the computer
facilities there (no doubt we would request a token-ring connection to attach
the majority of our machines...)....would this be an option to attach the RT as
a valid internet host? Sorry for the rambling questions but this is sure more
complicated than working with either the Banyan or Mac net's! :-)
Please send e-mail to me for my convenience...with 13+ hour days, I don't have
time to read the net regularly.
Thanks in Advance....
Jeff. :-)
