Novell Netware vs. UNIX

My company is thinking of networking 75 IBM-compatible PCs
together.  The proposal on the table is to use Novell Netware,
but as a UNIX user I would like to see my company network
via UNIX as the servers.
 
I have to justify my proposal to use UNIX as opposed to Novell.
Can you send me email regarding what benefits my company would
get as opposed to Novell?  Thanks.

Oh, by the way, we are a subcontractor with many contracts for
the DOD and unofficially the DOD has blessed using UNIX.  But
I'm looking for other reasons.
