Installing VP/ix on an ESIX system

I am trying to install the ISC VP/ix Rev 2.0.0 version on my ESIX Rev. C
system.  I get an error that says the file management system is not installed
and so it fails to install VP/ix.  Any ideas?  I would like to talk to
someone who has done it.  ESIX claims that VP/ix will work with ESIX.  Thanks
