Source Control Software?

 We are more than interested in obtaining some equivalent to UPDATE as 
found on CDC(NOS) and Cray systems for our UNIX base. We are running IRIX
and Sun OS. Neither SCCS nor RCS meet our needs. We are aware of a product
called HISTORIAN - are there any others or for that matter does anyone
have UPDATE on UNIX (other than UNICOS)?
 Please send e-mail. If interest is expressed I will post answers assuming
I get any at all :). I know I am limiting response by assuming some
familiarity with UPDATE.
