That's fine for the 332XT's. Now, about the lp147 problem:
The LP147 interface doesn't use termio; hence you will get bogus values when
you try to use stty. I'm curious - have you tried doing an
ioctl(fd, LPRRAW, 0)
to turn off canonical processing by the lp147 driver? According to my
sources(pun intended), that SHOULD work.
