/dev/tty input redirection over rsh?

I am writing some shell scripts to backup remote systems via rsh. Everything
works OK, except if the backup requires more than one tape. When it reaches
the end of the tape, dump prompts for a new tape and you must type "yes" when
it is ready. This works fine locally, or via rlogin, but if it is being
called through a script and the script is being done via rsh, it states that
it can't get input from /dev/tty. How do I redirect this input to the
terminal I am rsh'ing from?
Please mail your response.
