$cwd in prompt???

I use the following in my .cshrc:

alias setprompt 'set prompt="`/usr/ucb/hostname`:`pwd`#\\!>"'
alias cd 'chdir \!* && setprompt'
alias pushd 'pushd \!* && setprompt'
alias popd 'popd \!* && setprompt'
setprompt

This takes care of at least most of the cases.
