SUN 3 /150 SCSI disk troubles

Does anyone know if the SCSI drives of SUN 3/150 systems can be bought from
places other than SUN ? What devices and/or companies make sturdy ones ?
The Micropolis stuff is too damn flimmsy . It si givving me
                 si0:target skipped identify message
 even after I formatted the blasted thing
