Remote VNnewsreader

     I hope this is the group to direct this question to.
Every once in awhile our campus newsreader is unavailable.
The VN manual *seems* to say that one can logon to any
available reader including remote readers off site.  After
reading that part of the manual again, it seems less clear
than it did the first time I read it.  The quesion is:
does anyone know if this is an OK thing to do?
