Strange intermittent NFS error

Anyone ever see this error:

   NFS write error 13 on host elmer fh a0008 3 a0000 484f27ef \
       91070000 a0000 20000 10000

We get it all the time on /dev/console on our SPARCstation 1 running
SunOS 4.1.1 Rev. B.

host elmer is an IBM RS/6000 running AIX 3.1 3003.

elmer is mounting a disk from the Sun, and the Sun is mounting two
disks from elmer.

What does it mean.  I also have never seen any ill-effects.
