SCO doesn't sell UNIX

Because of all the companies with "IBM syndrome" (including Altos, d*mn them!)
who will only accept those three magic letters, in this case "SCO".  In the
case of Altos, I know for a fact that they're getting raked over the coals by
buyers of the Series 5000 because of Altos's decision to go with SCO UNIX; but
they're bound and determined to stay with SCO because it's SCO (you'd think
that was the spelling for "God").  And *we* have no choice in the matter
unless we want to go with less trustworthy third-party add-ons (in particular,
I have yet to see a third-party serial port board that was stable).

I'm just about at the point where I'm ready to start evaluating third-party
hardware looking for something that *does* work, and switch to a real UNIX.
SCO "UNIX" isn't.
