Installing ISC2.2 on a 150Mb maxtor drive with WD1007VSe-2

When i was trying to install the latest ISC2.2, I got the following
message when it was trying to create my /usr2 partition

PANIC: athd_int never got non-busy. got 0x000000D1.

Trying to dump 1950 pages

what is it saying? The hardware story is as follows:

Controller card: WD1007V SE-2
Disk Maxtor 150 MB
All sector translation is turned off

Has anybody successfully installed a Maxtor & WD1007V SE-2 combo on
the new ISC2.2? I knew that 2.02 did not support the 1007V series.
But I think the new version does.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS: Does anybody know how one can change the keyboard repeat rate for
ISC2.2? I hate it when I type the backspace in Vi, and all of a sudden
it erases my entire line...
