Hi Andy and friends,

This is followup with my 650meg ESDI SpeedStor and Adaptec
2322 controller problems ...

Interactive Support is getting worst and I am getting too many
different people. Few days later, I send fax about ISC 2.2
installation but I was refused unless I pay $650 for Support
because 30 days warranty was expired. I am really disappointed
because ISC have NEVER solved this problem and I believe it
should give adding warranty time till problem is fixed.

While I was in Comdex, I met ISC product manager asking about
fixed version 2.2.1 and he told me that it is already out in
more than two weeks. He gave me FAX number and he knows about
Tech support people names. He told me to call back a week if I
dont get 2.2.1. I met Adaptec controller person and he told
me to exchange for another disk because my original is slower
and have more bad sectors than normal.

I got new disk replacement and this ran faster and cleaner.
I have no trouble installing 2.0.2 at all but I did attempt to
upgrade to 2.2. Unfortunately 2.2 install program is doing same
story and is eating up or destroying /etc files (include inittab,
getty, initprog etc).

For a month since I met ISC person, I have not recieved 2.2.1 yet
and product manager keep telling me to send FAX again if I get
one within a week. I tried to send FAX to other Tech people but
I am getting no reply. It sounds like Interactive is in really
big trouble and I heard that Intel is taking advantage on better
tech support and products...

Well.. right now my 2.2 packages is all useless...

p.s. note to news reader.. I am totally deaf and I dont use voice
phone so I am using FAX. Please excuse my grammer to my hearing
impaired.
