I'm posting this rather than e-mailing since it may be of general interest.

I host the Esix mailing list on my system.  If you send a message to
esixlist-request at unixland.uucp or esixlist_admin at unixland.uucp, it should
work.  If not, send e-mail to bill at unixland.uucp.

If you still have that bounced message lying around, I'd like to take
a look at the headers.
