jumpers for teac 3.5" 1.44MB floppy drive?

I have a Teac 3.5" 1.44MB floppy drive (which, by the way, appears to have died
an early death -- the led glows upon access, but the motor doesn't spin?) with
some jumpers on it:

Teac FD-235HF 217U

D2 . . . D3	. .  H HO
		---  OP
		. .  L HI
		. .  H HI
		---  D1		Density?
		. .  D0
		---  FG		Frame Ground?

Does anybody know what these are for?
