SCO doesn't sell UNIX

They adopted that option because the Berkeley folks pushed for it (according
to McKusick).

So "those cretins" refers to the folks at Berkeley; SCO went along with it,
after the fact, because it was required for government work.  And note that
it is now possible to configure this off, so it behaves like a sane V7
filesystem (in that respect only).

On the other hand, FIPS also requires job control (which *does* work in
3.2v2, and is quite nice), and I believe it also specifies the sticky-bit on
directories thingy, which is also nice.
