Problem with ODT lanmanager software

Have you made sure that (1) you have set the same RFC 1001 NetBIOS scope at
both ends, and (2) that the two machines are on the same (sub)net, or failing
this, that there is a NetBIOS datagram/name service agent available?
Both of these are 'issues' with LM/X, and not particularly well documented
within the ODT manuals.

P.S. I'm trying to get someone to go through the procedures to establish
a separate group for LM/X and Portable NetWare discussion - I don't have the
resources to do it myself, but I think it could prove useful. Any volunteers?
