QUESTION: Using herc/vga with VP/IX over serial (Wyse 160 o. wy99gt)

Hello 386'er user,
the terminals wy99 or the new wy160 both support herc/cga/ega/ vga(wy160),
in the manual named 'alloy-compatible'.
Does anyone know, if it is possible to tell vp/ix to use this feature?
