We had a 5099EN drive on an old 68020 box, and it had a converter board
which goes from the QIC-36 interface to SCSI. The board is made by
Adaptec, and is a little old (1984). I can't see a Model number on the
board, but the ASSY NO is 400066-00 (rev J). The board has the same
footprint as the QIC drive, and is designed to bolt on to it. I have
no idea if these are still available (ours came with the computer).
I haven't tried this combination on my 386 box -- 'cause it doesn't
have a SCSI controller.
