Hello,
Questions again.
I saw this message "NOTICE: pvn_fail: page list not empty! -plist D1000870"
on the console yesterday after I shutdown X. Does anyone know what it means
and what caused it? The system is running Dell's sVr4.0.2 using tvtwm as
the window manager. Oh, has anyone been able to bring up dos under tvtwm.
dos came up but its window was black, well, almost. I could see some snow
scrolling on the left edge of the window when doing a dir.
BTW, does anyone know when Dell is going to release the update? The date
was supposed to be late Feb/early Mar. And is anyone outside Dell running
Roell's X386.1.a? Unfortunately I don't have the disk space yet to compile
the thing.
Also, I posted a request for sources of 386 mainboards few days ago. I may
upgrade to a 386-33 caching mb (made by A.I.R.) sometime in the future.
(Thanks for your suggestions, Bill.) Does anyone have experiences about this
board? I seem to recall seeing it on catalogs sent by a mail-order house.
I used to see their ad at the back of pc mag. Thanks again for any info.
