Has anyone had any luck installing Interactive Unix 2.2.1 on a
configuration such as the above ? The doc says 2.2 couldn't but 2.2.1
was fixed to enable installation with the 1007V. When the install
procedure goes to check the drive for a valid unix partition, it comes
back with :
Device Error: Controller command aborted.
Controller 0 (Primary AT hard disk), disk drive 0, absolute sector 0
When fdisk runs, it can't find an existing DOS 3.3 partition, I assume
because it can't read the drive correctly. If I make any partitions
They don't get saved to the drive - that is, I can reboot with a DOS
diskette and my original partitions are still there, and the new ones
created with the ISC install are not.
Any help ? Please reply to uunet!areyes!deano or deano at areyes.com
